  IDENTIFICATION
As you may know, the United States Department of Homeland Security, along with the State Department occassionally modify travel rules and guidelines, including passport requirements and policies.

To ensure safe and confortable passage for all our guests, we are providing the following guideline for guests cruising with us in January.

PASSPORT and ID POLICIES

Although a PASSPORT is NOT required for travel on The Smooth Jazz Cruise, any passports which are used as identification MUST be valid for the duration of the cruise. If your passports expires at any time during the cruise, it is very likely that you will not be allowed to board at all. Please review your passport expirations and call us immediately if you have any questions or concerns.

If you are NOT using a Passport as your means of identification, you may use a certififed  birth certificate with a raised seal, along with a government issued photo ID.

To be clear, if you DO NOT plan on using a PASSPORT, you MUST have a birth certificate AND a photo ID to travel.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARRYING A PASSPORT VALID FOR 6 MONTHS BEYOND THE DURATION OF YOUR TRAVEL.

Guests arriving at embarkation without proper documentation may not join the voyage and will not be entitled to a refund.

The following documents are required for U.S. and Canadian citizens:

Caribbean cruises:

  1. A valid passport

  2. A U.S. or Canadian government-issued picture identification;

Non-U.S./non-Canadian citizens: must have a valid passport and any necessary visas. Please carefully verify the existing identification requirements for your particular travel situation. In addition, non-U.S. citizens who have previously been admitted to the United States for permanent residence must carry their Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551), commonly known as a Green Card. Resident aliens not in possession of this must obtain one at the nearest office of the U.S. Immigration Service.
