As you
may know, the United States Department
of Homeland Security, along with the
State Department occassionally modify
travel rules and guidelines, including
passport requirements and policies.
To ensure safe and confortable passage
for all our guests, we are providing the
following guideline for guests cruising
with us in January.
PASSPORT and ID POLICIES
Although a PASSPORT is NOT required for
travel on The Smooth Jazz Cruise, any
passports which are used as
identification MUST be valid for the
duration of the cruise. If your
passports expires at any time during the
cruise, it is very likely that you will
not be allowed to board at all. Please
review your passport expirations and
call us immediately if you have any
questions or concerns.
If you are NOT using a Passport as your
means of identification, you may use a
certififed birth certificate with a
raised seal, along with a government
issued photo ID.
To be clear, if you DO NOT plan on using
a PASSPORT, you MUST have a birth
certificate AND a photo ID to travel.
WE
HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARRYING A PASSPORT
VALID FOR 6 MONTHS BEYOND THE DURATION
OF YOUR TRAVEL.
