Oct 1- Cheju, South Korea
Jeju
Island, also known as the "Island of
the Gods,"
is a popular vacation spot for
Koreans and
many Japanese. It remains
one of the
top honeymoon destinations for
Korean
newlyweds. The island's mixture of
volcanic
rock, frequent rains, and temperate climate, make it very similar to the
Hawaiian Islands in the U.S. The island offers visitors a wide range of
activities: hiking on
Halla-san (South Korea's highest peak), catching sunrises and
sunsets over the ocean, viewing majestic waterfalls, riding horses, or
just lying around
on the
sandy beaches.

Oct 2- Fukuoka, Japan
A big,
semi-industrial city at the
southern
end of the Shinkansen,
FUKUOKA
was, until recently,
simply a
place to negotiate as quickly
as possible
en route to Kyushu's more
picturesque
regions. However, over the
last few
years it has established itself
as western
Japan's major cultural centre
and an
important international gateway.
Though not
a huge place (just under 1.3
million
people), the city combines tremendous vitality with a determination to
make the rest of Japan sit up and take notice – already it claims the
country's biggest hotel, longest bar, largest cinema complex and most
advanced
baseball
stadium. For the visitor this translates into a thoroughly modern
city with all the energy and atmosphere of
a Tokyo or Osaka, contained
within
manageable proportions.

Oct 3 - Kagoshima, Japan
With a
population of nearly 500,000, KAGOSHIMA
curls round
the west shore of Kagoshima Bay, a mere 4km from one of the world's most
active volcanoes.
Sakurajima's smouldering cone constitutes the city's
most
obvious and compelling attraction, but Kagoshima
contains a
few sights of its own which justify a day's
exploration. Foremost of these are its
classical garden,
Sengan-en,
which uses Sakurajima in the ultimate
example of
borrowed scenery, and several excellent
museums of
local history and culture. The best
are
devoted to
Kagoshima's mid-nineteenth-century
hey-day
when Saigo Takamori, amongst other
local
heroes, played a major role in Japan's
modernization.

Oct 4 - Nagasaki, Japan
The
Nagasaki Peace Park commemorates the
atomic bombing of Nagasaki
of August 9, 1945,
which destroyed wide parts of the city and
killed
ten thousands of inhabitants.
Nagasaki is an
attractively situated port city on the island of
Kyushu and the capital of
Nagasaki Prefecture.
As one of Japan's closest
port cities to the
Asian mainland, Nagasaki
has played a prominent
role in foreign trade
relations for many centuries
and was the most important
of only a very few
ports open to restricted
numbers of foreign
traders during Japan's
period
of isolation.
In more recent history,
Nagasaki became
the second city after
Hiroshima to be destroyed by
an
atomic
bomb towards the end of
World
War II.

Optional tour to Beijing China from
$599
Beijing is the capital of China. It is the center of politics,
economic and culture in China. In our history, a lot of dynasties
took this city as the capital city. And about 24 crown nobles became
the emperors in Beijing. Among them, the Ming dynasty and Qing
dynasty paid more attention to build this city, such that Beijing
was developed as the real capital city. The wonderful palace, the
Great Wall, the wide Tiananmen Square, the beautiful imperial
gardens, the secluded temples and the great Ming tomb all reflect
the imperial momentum.
